Police attack relatives and abduct corpse of hunger strike martyr!

The corpse of lawyer Ebru Timtik, who was martyred yesterday after being on hunger strike for 238 days against unfair trial conditions, was abducted by the police at the Forensic Medicine Institute (ATK) in Yenibosna.

Police provoked the relatives of Timtik, who had been waiting in front of ATK to collect the corpse of the martyred lawyer. The police sprayed tear gas on the crowd who attempted to collect the corpse. While some lawyers were being beaten, the funeral vehicle was abducted during the chaos.

While it is not known where the corpse was taken, according to the information received, neither Timtik’s family nor the other lawyers have any information about the whereabouts of the corpse.
