TCŞ members march through Bordeaux demanding “Freedom for Öcalan”

BORDEAUX, FRANCE

The state of absolute isolation being imposed upon People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan is being protested day by day by Kurdish youth in Europe. On August 29, Revolutionary Youth Movement (TCŞ) activists gathered in Bordeaux, France, and organized an action demanding “Freedom for Öcalan”.

The action organized within the scope of the “Bi Hev Re Serhildan” move started at 19 o’clock in the Grand Theater. Making a statement in the square, the youth stated that they did not accept the isolation being imposed on Peoples Leader Öcalan and called on all young people to oppose the isolation with the spirit of the “Bi Hev Re Serhildan” move.

The youth, who also stated that they will participate in the Long March in Germany, which will start on September 5, started their action carrying banners reading “Bi Hev Re Serhildan” and “Defend Rojava” in French and Kurdish. A large TCŞ flag was unfurled during the march on Rue Sainte Catherine Street.

The activists attracted attention to their march using colorful smoke flares, demanding the freedom of the People’s Leader Öcalan. The young people saluted the resistance of Cenga Heftanîn.
